A new way for any type of club to connect with its fans

If you love your club, you want to spend as much time as possible with it and the people in it. Whether it’s a big soccer club or a small shooting club in the village, they all thrive on the protagonists and members who devote their time and energy for the good of everyone and have fun doing it. There’s always news, things to know and opportunities to see each other again.

Can’t social media already do all that?

One way that a club can stay connected with its fans is through social media. With mobile apps like Instagram, Whatsapp, Facebook or Tiktok, livestreams, photos, videos, texts can be sent to members quickly and easily.

Fan-Tabs on your PC

People who work from home spend most of their time sitting at their computer or laptop. On average, a user opens a new browser window, also called a tab, 10-20 times a day. This is where Fan-Tabs comes into play.

So far, when you open a new tab in your browser, you most likely see a plain white page with a discreet search bar – probably from Google. That’s exactly how most Internet users feel. But it doesn’t have to look like that…

How about if you, as a fan of your club, get more than a white background in addition to the Google search slot? Current YouTube videos, livestreams, photos, polls, messages, etc. I.e. every time you open your browser, your club is with you and you are live.

The user can mark favorites to show special content more often. For example the winning goal or pictures from the summer party.

Where can I get Fan-Tabs?

Technically, it is a browser plugin for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, soon also for Safari. With two clicks from the respective browser stores, the extension can be installed and added to the PC browser.

How do clubs use Fan-Tabs?

An easy-to-use online tool gives the responsible administrator of the club control over the content shown. Without any effort, pictures, videos, YouTube links, etc. can be added.

Especially those that have been well received by fans on social media can be reused here.

Or even content that had to be sorted out and not shown due to prioritization on social media channels can be used here. Why just show a photo from the Christmas party when you have a hundred. After all, the fan opens the browser very often and “more is more” applies here.

A club, therefore, gets with Fan-Tabs the opportunity to inform, entertain and involve the community.

The club informs

What has happened or is still coming up today? What were the decisions in the general meeting?

With pictures and videos of current developments, members and fans can easily be informed. Livestreams, e.g. from training sessions, can be loaded automatically and prioritized in fan tabs, if also available in a YouTube channel.

The club provides entertainment

Your own club triggers strong emotions. With the right content from the best moments in the club’s history and the broadcast of live games, members are held together and motivated in their commitment.

The club connects and listens to the fans

A fan just sitting at his computer opens a new browser window and this time sees no picture, video or livestream. No, the club asks members questions that they can quickly answer.

A WOW for the community: individual super fans create special content and share it with everyone else on Fan-Tabs. For example, someone makes a livestream of the soccer game with their cell phone, which is then shown prioritized to all PC users of the club.

How to set up Fan-Tabs?

You want to offer Fan-Tabs for your club and fans? Create your own free version quickly and easily. Just fill out the form below. We will send you an account via email.

As a club admin, you will then receive a link that you can send to your fans via your existing channels, e.g. newsletter or social media. The user gets a preview of the content when clicking on the link and the possibility to install the fan tabs plugin for his browser with just one more click.

In addition, you can easily embed Fan-Tabs as a widget in your club website. So fans can see the content and decide if they want to turn their own browser into a “club browser”.
